Aspire People are partnering with a Leicester school to recruit a caring SEN Teaching Assistant. You will join a single school, Monday to Friday, full-time, supporting pupils with SEN both in and out of the classroom, and building strong relationships with staff and pupils.
Experience with children is essential, and a DBS is preferred or a willingness to obtain one. Relevant qualifications are desirable, and you will have ongoing support from your Aspire People consultant.

Location: Leicester
Pay: £105 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
Setting: One school only
Experience: Previous experience working with children essential
SEN: Must be willing to support children with SEN
Qualification: SEN/Childcare/Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
DBS: Must have a DBS or be willing to obtain one

This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience working with children and is interested in developing their experience within SEN. You'll be based in one school, Monday to Friday, working closely with pupils and the wider school team to provide support both in and out of the classroom.
You don't necessarily need extensive SEN experience for this role, but you must be willing to work with children with additional needs and have a patient, understanding and supportive approach.
