Essex Cares Limited is seeking a Sensory Impairment Support Worker to help adults with sensory needs live independently in their communities. The role involves community travel from our central Chelmsford base and requires a full driving licence with access to a car.
You will support people with sight, hearing or dual impairments, assisting with daily tasks and appointments, while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training.
Salary: £12.90 per hour plus 55p per mile
Hours : Various hours, primarily Monday – Friday
Contract: Permanent
Location: Travel required across Essex to support customers. Central office in Chelmsford.

To be considered as a Sensory Support Worker, youneed:
Travel required across Essex and potentially London to support with health appointments.
British Sign Language (BSL) skills and/or qualifications would be advantageous to your application. BSL and non-BSL roles available.
