Job summary

Essex Cares Limited is hiring an Older People Support Worker to join a dedicated care team. You will support older adults, including those with dementia, with activities that promote independence and social interaction in both on-site and community settings.

You will provide personal care, assist with nutrition and hydration, and help with medication administration when required. Travel across Essex for training and outreach is expected.

We are looking for individuals who share our values and passion to make a positive difference to people's lives. You'll be supporting older people, some living with Dementia and/or age-related frailty and clinical needs such as dysphagia. We provide a holistic service that focuses on social inclusion and community, enhancing quality of life for both our customers and their loved ones.

As an Older People Support Worker, you will join a dedicated team offering specialist, person-centred support to individuals with decreased mobility, or individuals living with Alzheimer's, dementia and Parkinson's. You'll be delivering a range of tailored activities focused on maintaining independence and encouraging social interaction through both on-site and community-based activities.

You will support our customers with personal care and, support to maintain nutrition and hydration, and assist with medication administration where required.

About You

To be considered as an Older People Support Worker,youneed:

• To be passionate about providing a high level of care and support to older people

Previous experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Travel required across Essex to attend training, work at other centres, and in the community.
