Job summary

London Borough of Bexley is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support learners with complex needs at the Sensory Pathways site in Belvedere (DA17 5PP). This role includes personal care tasks and assisting with learning activities within the SEND team.

A minimum Level 2 in English and Maths is required, along with DBS disclosure. The post is Tue-Thu for 37 weeks per academic year, with teaching assistant qualification support available.

Qualifications

• Good communicator able to provide practical and administrative support to enable learners to achieve their outcomes.
• Experience with children and young people and/or adults with complex needs including autism is desirable.
• Minimum Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) is required.
