Job summary

An educational staffing agency is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a part-time role in Bexleyheath to provide support to students, including those with additional needs. Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
• Knowledge of or interest in behaviour management strategies.
• A positive, patient, and caring attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to work across different age groups and classroom settings.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training or willingness to complete it.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons.
• Assisting with classroom management and pupil behaviour.
• Working with pupils who need additional support, including those with SEN.
• Helping prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
• Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their potential.
