Sensory Regulation Teaching Assistant – Hackney is seeking a compassionate, capable TA to support pupils with autism and sensory needs across the school day. You will run sensory circuits, movement breaks and provide practical support to access lessons.

Collaboration with teachers and therapy staff is essential. Experience with autism or complex learning needs, a calm, responsive approach, and strong safeguarding awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with autism or sensory needs or complex learning needs.
• Calm, responsive and encouraging approach.
• Strong teamwork and safeguarding awareness.
• QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.

Responsabilités

• Deliver sensory circuits and regulation activities.
• Use movement breaks, visual cues and practical resources.
• Support learning in class and during individual or small-group sessions.
• Share observations with teachers and therapy colleagues.
