Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Senior zOS Systems Programmer to join our Mainframe Software Team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will design, develop, maintain and support critical enterprise systems that underpin Global Payments' business operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in systems programming within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, middleware, automation tooling and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex technical problems in mission-critical systems.
• Experience supporting highly available production platforms focusing on reliability and resilience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences.

What you'll bring Extensive experience in systems programming within large-scale enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of operating systems
middleware, automation tooling and performance tuning. Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex technical problems in mission-critical systems. Experience supporting highly available production platforms with a focus on reliability and resilience. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences. It's a bonus if you have Experience within payments, fintech or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
