Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an experienced MQ specialist to join the z/OS MQ team in a hybrid role across Edinburgh, Manchester or Leeds. You will provide senior technical support for complex MQ environments, help shape the roadmap and work with stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure mainframe services.

The role emphasizes automation, DevOps and modern engineering practices, with out-of-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of MQ on z/OS.
• Strong experience in MQ performance tuning and problem resolution.
• Experience supporting business-critical online systems.
• Experience working with TLS.
• Interest in driving automation and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support for complex MQ environments.
• Shape the strategic roadmap for z/OS MQ and platform evolution.
