Job summary

Community Base in Newhaven seeks a Senior Development Worker – Youth Delivery to coordinate and deliver youth services, including a Youth Café, outreach, and holiday activities.

The role is part-time (25 hours/week), with delivery often outside traditional hours. A DBS check is required and the position offers a hybrid delivery model with a starting salary of £27,291 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Youth Work to a minimum Level 3, or with an equivalent qualification.
• Experienced in working with young people and within safeguarding rules.
• Hands-on, practical approach to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead and deliver SCDA’s youth services and sessions.
• Oversee sessional/activities staff delivering youth work.
• Deliver activities for ages 8–11 and 12–18 across weeknights, weekends and holidays.
