Job summary

Together Housing Group is hiring a Youth Worker in Blackburn for 17.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. You will deliver inclusive youth sessions, build trust with young people, and connect them with wellbeing, education and employment support.

The role requires experience with young people, a Level 3 Youth Work qualification or progress towards it, and a UK driving licence. Evening work is required, with a salary of £30,476 full-time pro rata.

• Experience with youth aged 8–25 and supporting development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate inclusive youth work sessions for personal, social and educational development.
• Build positive relationships and empower young people to lead activities.
• Support access to wellbeing, education, employment and other services.
• Promote safeguarding and inclusion following policy.
• Support volunteers with induction and guidance.
• Collaborate with partners to improve opportunities for young people.
• Maintain records, monitor outcomes and contribute to targets.
• Ensure activities and venues are safe by risk assessment.
