Co Church in Exeter is seeking a Youth Ministry Assistant to support, deliver, and grow the youth ministry (ages 11–18) across locations. The role focuses on Sunday sessions, relational discipleship, midweek outreach, and admin coordination, with a pathway for leadership development.

The post is 28 hours per week, part-time with flexible hours and a DBS check required. Experience with youth work and safeguarding is essential for this role.

Qualificações

• Committed Christian with active faith and love for young people.
• Able to facilitate youth small groups and build rapport calmly.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills; basic IT literacy.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and set up welcoming youth environments on Sundays.
• Host the Youth Lounge to foster social cohesion among young people.
• Deliver and support programmes for Younger Youth (Years 7–8) and develop Older Youth (Years 9–13) contact points.
• Ensure a safe, well-ordered environment for learning about God through teaching and worship.
• Facilitate small-group discussions and bible studies; support personal faith ownership.
• Provide pastoral care with SEND and challenging backgrounds in mind.
• Maintain ministerial boundaries and work with the Associate Pastor on midweek activities.
• Coordinate logistics, consent forms, and supplies for trips and residentials.
• Support volunteer coordination and integration of Year participants.
