Job summary

Accord Resourcing Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller for a busy commercial vehicle operation. This hands-on leadership role requires strong HGV knowledge to drive workshop performance and supervision. You will coordinate daily activity, manage resources, monitor KPIs, and liaise with service and management teams. Salary £50,000-£60,000 + bonus, Mon-Fri 8:00-18:00 with 1 in 3 Saturdays.

• Previous commercial workshop management experience.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Able to prioritise and multitask.
• Experience working with KPIs and targets.
• Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day running of the workshop.
• Allocate jobs and manage workshop resources.
• Lead and support workshop staff.
• Monitor productivity, quality and performance.
• Work towards KPIs, budgets and targets.
• Liaise with Service, Parts and Management teams.
• Ensure high standards of safety and customer service.
