Job summary

Bigblue UK is seeking an experienced Workplace Interior Designer to join our Wiltshire team. The role is hybrid and focuses on client-facing project leadership from concept to delivery, balancing design intent with budget and timelines.

You will develop engaging workplace concepts, present to clients, and collaborate with design and technical teams to drive projects forward with ownership and accountability from day one.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years’ experience in commercial workplace/office design.
• Background in Design & Build or commercial fit-out.
• Strong space planning and visual communication skills.
• Confident presenting to clients and key decision-makers.
• Solid understanding of cost, value and margin.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong commercial workplace projects and clear design thinking.

Responsibilities

• Creating engaging commercial workplace concepts and space plans.
• Presenting and communicating design ideas directly to clients.
• Contributing to pitches, presentations and competitive tenders.
• Working closely with the wider design and technical teams.
• Balancing creative ambition with budget, feasibility and commercial objectives.
• Adapting designs where needed to protect value and margin.
• Taking ownership and accountability for key design decisions.
