Job summary

Elanco, a global animal health leader based in Hook, UK, is seeking a Workday Integrations Product Engineer to design, build, operate, and improve the Workday integration ecosystem for our global workforce.

You will own end-to-end integrations, leverage Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and middleware, emphasize security and reliability, and collaborate in an Agile team with Product Managers, HR, and engineering colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or engineering.
• Hands-on workday integrations experience in a global enterprise.
• Experience with Workday Studio, PECI, WECI, Boomi.
• REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and data transformation familiarity.
• Security, privacy, and data governance awareness.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps delivery.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support robust integrations between Workday and enterprise apps using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, PECI, WECI, and Boomi-based middleware.
• Design scalable, secure integration patterns based on requirements, data volumes, and reliability standards.
• Perform integration analysis, data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Evolve the Workday integration architecture and establish reusable patterns and standards.
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy workflows and reduce technical debt.
• Apply software engineering practices including version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
• Build integrations with observability, monitoring, and self-healing error handling by design.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve integration performance.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards.
• Collaborate in an Agile Product Engineering team with Product Managers, Designers, HR, and global groups.
• Own end-to-end solutions across their lifecycle and communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
