Job summary

Focus on WD is seeking an HR Technology Lead to oversee and optimise the Workday environment. This fully remote role in the UK offers leadership of the global Workday platform and a pathway to drive HR technology strategy across the business.

You will lead the Workday team, govern releases, and manage HR processes such as performance, compensation, and benefits, while ensuring security and data integrity. Excellent stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading Workday or HR Technology functions.
• Hands-on knowledge of Workday HCM and core modules.
• Experience with Workday governance, releases and HRIS operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience working with global HR teams and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day HRIS function and provide guidance to the Workday team.
• Act as the escalation point for complex Workday issues across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence and Integrations.
• Oversee Workday governance, configuration, release management and system enhancements.
• Manage annual HR processes including performance, compensation and benefits cycles.
• Ensure effective security, access governance and data integrity.
• Manage third-party suppliers, Statements of Work (SOWs) and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure Workday supports business objectives.
