Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise WLAN technologies (Cisco, Aruba).
• Deep understanding of RF fundamentals (channel planning, power, interference mitigation).
• Knowledge of 802.11 standards including Wi‑Fi 5/6/6E/7.
• Experience with enterprise controllers and cloud-managed Wi‑Fi platforms.
• Proficiency with wireless survey tools (Ekahau, Hamina).
• Experience with Cradlepoint or similar 5G cellular‑enabled networking platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale Wi‑Fi environments in complex organisations.
• Experience with ISE and Aruba ClearPass for 802.1X, RADIUS and profiling.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimise enterprise wireless LAN solutions across office and industrial environments.
• Conduct wireless surveys (predictive & on-site), RF analysis and coverage optimisation.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex Wi‑Fi issues, including authentication, interference and performance degradation.
• Create and update Low‑Level Designs (LLDs) for Wi‑Fi, NAC and related network services.
• Produce accurate BoM for new deployments, refresh programmes and upgrade initiatives.
• Support Wi‑Fi lifecycle management including hardware upgrades, software updates and capacity planning.
• Work with stakeholders across IT, operations and platform teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Contribute to standards, best practices, design documentation and knowledge sharing within the network engineering chapter.
