Job summary

iO Associates is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer in the United Kingdom to join a well‑established, internationally operating organisation investing heavily in technology. You will own the IT infrastructure, lead critical projects, and ensure secure, reliable, scalable systems using Microsoft technologies.

Key responsibilities include 1st‑, 2nd‑ and 3rd‑line infrastructure support, installing and maintaining Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Hyper‑V, plus monitoring

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Hyper‑V.
• Strong networking knowledge and infrastructure security principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st to 3rd line infrastructure support to ensure high availability.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server, M365, AD and Hyper‑V.
• Lead infrastructure projects such as server migrations and upgrades.
• Monitor performance, security and availability and implement improvements.
• Maintain strong hands-on expertise with M365, AD and Hyper‑V.
• Ensure secure, reliable and scalable IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support, ensuring high levels of system availability and service delivery.
• Install, configure and maintain Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Hyper‑V environments.
• Lead infrastructure projects including server migrations, upgrades, and new technology implementations.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, security and availability, implementing improvements where required.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Hyper‑V.
• Experience providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support.
• Strong networking knowledge, including infrastructure security principles.
