Job summary

Technique-Recruitment Solutions Ltd is hiring a Winding Shop Supervisor / Senior Electrical Rewinder in Norwich. You will head the winding shop, manage workloads, and guide apprentices while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires hands-on electrical rewind experience, leadership ability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. 40 hours per week, with occasional Saturdays and out-of-hours callouts. Overtime allowances and a contributory pension are offered.

Qualifications

• Fully trained engineer with extensive hands-on experience in electrical motor rewinds.
• Strong understanding of workplace health & safety procedures.
• A clean UK driving licence is important for regional collections and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee winding shop operations and daily workloads.
• Lead, mentor and train junior employees and apprentices.
• Strip, rewind and test AC/DC motors, transformers and related components.
• Safely operate testing and repair equipment and document results.
• Maintain stores, stock levels and assist with logistics across Norfolk and Suffolk.
