Job description

Senior Motor Rewinder

Middleton | Full-time, Permanent | £40,000-£46,000 per year, depending on experience

The role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Motor Rewinder who knows the trade inside out and can take ownership of jobs from initial inspection through to completed repair and testing.

You will be confident stripping down a burnt-out motor, diagnosing the fault, assessing the work required, pricing the job accurately and carrying out a high-quality rewind.

This is a hands-on workshop role for someone with substantial experience in motor rewinding, a strong technical understanding and the initiative to keep work moving without constant supervision.

We need someone who takes pride in their workmanship, understands the importance of turnaround times and can make sound technical and commercial decisions.

If you are an experienced winder who wants to focus on engineering rather than unnecessary paperwork and management, this could be the right opportunity for you.

  • A commitment to quality, safety and delivering work on time.
  • The right to work in the UK.
What you get
  • Salary of £40,000-£46,000 per year, depending on experience.
