The Cadillac Formula 1® Team is seeking a skilled Wind Tunnel Model Technician to join a team of technicians in the model shop and wind tunnel environments. You will produce, deliver, and test high-quality test components and assemblies for wind tunnel testing, while challenging conventions and contributing to excellence.

Responsibilities include manufacturing to deadlines, supporting testing programs, mentoring others, and travel as needed.

Formación

• Experience preparing and testing wind tunnel model parts.
• Extensive model-making experience in high-level motorsport.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installations and assemblies.
• Experience with metrology equipment and accuracy requirements.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including weekends.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manufacture wind tunnel parts to high standards and deadlines.
• Make changes during wind tunnel programs and maintain model quality.
• Support Lead Model Technicians with workload and targets.
• Build large, complex mechanical assemblies for the wind tunnel model.
• Diagnose and solve technical problems encountered.
• Collaborate with Model Design Engineers to improve changes and parts quality.
• Mentor junior team members and promote safety.
• Support Health and Safety management and occasional travel to Germany.
