Job summary

West London NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Wellbeing Practitioner for the Hounslow Mental Health Support Team. You will supervise Educational Mental Health Practitioners and trainees while delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people in schools.

You will also support Team Leads with service development and help maintain high-quality, child-centered care across sites within the Hounslow area. Applicants must hold PGCert SWP and PGDip EMHP or PGDip CWP.

Qualifications

• Evidence of qualification as a Senior Wellbeing Practitioner (PGCert SWP) from accredited training provider.
• Evidence of qualification as Education Mental Health Practitioner (PGDip EMHP) OR Child Wellbeing Practitioner (PGDip CWP) from accredited training provider
• Psychology or other health /social care/youth related undergraduate degree
• Other relevant postgraduate degree

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and skills-based supervision to qualified EMHPs and trainees with support from Team Lead.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to children, young people and families/carers within schools as a senior practitioner.
• Support Team Leads and managers with service development and operational functioning of the team.
