Job summary

Ithaca Energy in Aberdeen invites applications for the Senior Well Engineer role, reporting to the Wells Engineering Team Lead. You will oversee well design, planning and operations across Ithaca's portfolio, ensuring designs comply with UK statutory requirements and Ithaca policies, while driving safety and performance improvements.

You will mentor drilling engineers, coordinate with service providers and disciplines, review scopes of work, prepare risk assessments and permits, and support MoC

• Demonstrated capacity of team supervision and analytical competence.
• Ability to analyse multiple sources of data, make connections and create high quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Ithaca well designs, drilling programmes and regulatory submissions in compliance with UK requirements.
• Oversee well planning in accordance with the Well Delivery Process and risk assessments.
• Mentoring of Drilling Engineers and Associate Drilling Engineers.
• Assist during operations and provide technical/operational support.
