Exsportise Limited is seeking a Senior Welfare role to lead safeguarding, welfare, and staffing for a busy centre. You will deputise for the Centre Manager as DDSL and work with staff to implement policies, support online safety, and ensure welfare concerns are addressed with statutory agencies as needed.

The role focuses on safeguarding leadership, team management, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for students and staff across a multi-national setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum CEFR C1 level in English (written and spoken).
• At least 2 years' experience in pastoral or welfare roles, preferably in residential or boarding settings.
• Experience implementing safeguarding policies and coordinating with DSLs and DDSLs.

Responsabilités

• Lead safeguarding team with Centre Manager and implement policies.
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) and escalate concerns as needed.
• Assist the DSL with online safety and liaising with IT providers.
• Ensure staff and group leaders understand safeguarding responsibilities.
• Oversee welfare, behaviour, risk assessments, fire drills, and health & safety reporting.
• Coordinate with Centre Manager, parents, agents, and Head Office on welfare matters.
