Job summary

Savaria UK is seeking a Senior Web Developer to own our European websites, ensuring security, performance and growth across multiple markets. You will lead technical decisions and collaborate with Marketing, Digital and regional teams across Europe and North America to shape our digital estate.

You will drive Core Web Vitals improvements, implement international SEO and hreflang, manage GA4/GTM analytics, and determine when to work internally or with external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional web development experience, with substantial hands-on ownership of live WordPress websites.
• Strong WordPress development experience (themes, plugins, ACF).
• Experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
• Technical SEO expertise for international/multi-region websites.
• Experience managing website security, hosting and performance optimisation.
• Proactive, ownership-driven problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day technical management of Savaria's European WordPress websites.
• Manage development, maintenance, security and performance.
• Drive improvements in Core Web Vitals, user experience and site reliability.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives, including international SEO and hreflang implementation.
• Manage analytics and tracking through GA4, GTM and conversion tools.
• Support integrations with CRM and lead management platforms.
• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to support business growth.
• Advise on digital best practices and decide when work should be delivered in-house or via external partners.
