Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Senior/Principal Process Design Engineer for the water sector in England with hybrid working across multiple locations. You will provide technical leadership, deliver robust process solutions from concept through detailed design, and ensure governance and quality across projects.

You will hold a relevant degree and have substantial UK water/wastewater experience, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, develop cost-effective treatment solutions, and drive

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical/Process/Environmental Engineering or related field.
Significant experience delivering process design in UK water/wastewater sector.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering design projects.
Strong ability to develop innovative and cost-effective treatment solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of complex process engineering solutions for water and wastewater projects.
Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Develop robust process solutions from concept to detailed design with strong governance.
Produce and review process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs and design documentation.
Optimise processes to meet regulatory requirements and whole-life costs.
Mentor and develop engineers to grow technical capability.
