Job summary

Alexander Associates Limited is seeking a Senior Planner to join our client's water infrastructure team in West Wickham. You will develop and manage tender and contractual programmes, ensuring milestones are met while coordinating with project and commercial teams.

You will monitor progress and costs, identify risks, and drive programme performance. Mentoring junior planners and supporting process improvement will be key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience planning civil engineering and M&E projects.
• Knowledge of production control and collaborative planning techniques.
• Good understanding of current HSE practices and CSCS card.
• Experience working with NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to identify project risks and opportunities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, update, and submit programmes in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with estimating to produce tender programmes that meet requirements.
• Lead 4D construction planning development and implementation.
• Create baseline programmes and monitor progress against them.
• Attend progress meetings and present programme updates and performance information.
• Maintain look-ahead programmes and accurate As-Built programmes at close-out.
• Mentor junior Planners and share best practices.
