Job summary

Alexander Associates is seeking a Senior Planner to join its water infrastructure team in Bexleyheath. You will develop, manage and report on tender and contractual programmes, ensuring milestones and targets are met.

You will oversee multiple project schedules, monitor progress and costs, identify risks, and mentor junior Planners while supporting the planning function across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience planning civil engineering and M&E projects.
• Knowledge of production control and collaborative planning techniques.
• Good understanding of current HSE practices and CSCS card.
• Experience working with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
• Strong MS Office and Primavera P6 planning software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify project risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Produce tender programmes that are realistic, achievable, and compliant with project requirements.
• Develop, maintain, update, and submit programmes in line with contractual obligations.
• Lead the development and implementation of planning processes and 4D construction planning.
• Create and maintain baseline programmes and monitor progress against them.
• Attend progress meetings and present programme updates and performance information.
• Provide planning software training and support to new users as required.
