Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle in the UK. You will manage design through handover, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning with a focus on risk, cost and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Significant, demonstrable experience managing projects within the UK water industry.
• Proven track record delivering complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Experience across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover phases.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Manage programme, cost, risk, change control, commercial performance and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Build strong client, contractor and supply chain relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and governance requirements.
• Provide project performance reporting and resolve complex delivery issues.
• Support business development, tendering activities and mentor junior project managers.
