Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Manager to provide technical leadership across major water and wastewater infrastructure programmes. You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical excellence, governance and innovation throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility through handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Significant experience leading technical teams in water or major infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams on complex programmes.
• Experience across full lifecycle from feasibility to handover.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on water infrastructure projects.
• Set technical strategies, delivery plans and governance.
• Provide oversight to ensure compliance with client requirements and standards.
• Manage complex technical risks and interfaces.
• Align engineering activities with cost, schedule and construction needs.
• Lead design reviews, assurance activities and constructability assessments.
• Build strong client and partner relationships; support bid activities.
