Job summary

Consult seeks a Principal Operations and Asset Management Consultant to provide strategic advisory services to water and wastewater utilities. This role focuses on asset management strategies, operational improvement programs, and digital-enabled solutions to improve reliability, efficiency, and regulatory performance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years supporting water and wastewater utilities through consulting, operations, or asset management.
• Extensive understanding of water utilities operations and asset management principles.
• Proven experience leading operational improvement, asset performance, or transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering and lifecycle asset management.
• Experience applying data, analytics, and digital solutions to improve performance.
• Experience with OT environments including SCADA, telemetry, PLCs, and industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engagements focused on operational excellence and asset management improvement.
• Develop asset management strategies, improvement plans, and transformation roadmaps.
• Assess organizational maturity, processes, asset performance, and maintenance practices.
• Advise on reliability-centered maintenance, condition-based maintenance, and FMECA.
• Support clients with AMP planning, business planning, and performance commitments.
