Job summary

AECOM in the UK and Ireland is seeking a Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to deliver hydraulic models and flood/pollution solutions. Based in a UK or Ireland office, with a flexible hybrid working model, you will work with multidisciplinary water teams to progress projects from scoping to implementation.

You will mentor colleagues, verify models and reports, and interact with clients such as Severn Trent and Anglian Water.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a similar subject.
• Experience in Hydraulic Modelling GIS or Data Analysis, especially ArcGIS or MapInfo.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Modelling or Asset management, e.g. Innovyze ICM or InfoAsset.
• Proven experience in water consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver: Build hydraulic models and verify sewer networks; support project scoping and planning.
• Expertise: Apply new technologies; solve client challenges; develop scopes and tender responses.
• Documentation: Prepare technical reports and presentations; communicate modelling findings clearly.
• Lead: Mentor team members and foster client relationships.
• Quality: Check hydraulic models and reports for accuracy and compliance.
