Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to lead delivery of complex projects within our Wastewater Team in Liverpool/Manchester. You will shape catchment strategies, ensure outputs meet standards, and mentor junior staff as we expand in the UK water sector.

Qualifications

• Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
• Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.
• Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
• Experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development.
• Ability to check the work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.

• Supporting the development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
• Responsible for the quality of outputs and compliance with standards & specifications.
• Ability to manage and/or support project managers, to manage projects and programmes of works.

• Supervising and developing staff and providing guidance to support their professional development.
• Contributing towards technical innovation.

Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside drainage design, SuDS and surface water management. Our wide variety of clients span across the UK and internationally and include water companies, local authorities, highways / rail authorities, and developers.

It’s an exciting time to be working for our UK Water business with unprecedented investment in the water industry. Due to continued framework successes, we seek to recruit a Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our Wastewater Team in Liverpool/ Manchesterto lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks, with a leading UK Water Company.
