Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a busy multi-customer warehouse at the Hams Hall site. You will be responsible for safety, efficiency, cost control and service delivery, working closely with Customer Success, Transport, Shipping, Compliance and Finance teams.

The role requires hands-on leadership across Goods In, Storage, Cross Dock, Replenishment, Picking, Packing and Dispatch, with a strong emphasis on KPI-driven

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations within a multi-customer 3PL environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes: Goods In, Inventory Control, Replenishment, Picking, Packing and Dispatch.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Leadership experience developing operational teams.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day warehouse operation and ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
• Oversee inbound, put-away, replenishment, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Optimize space, labour and resources while controlling costs.
• Lead, motivate and develop shift managers and teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain safety and compliance.
