Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal in Stockport is recruiting a Deputy Ward Manager for its inpatient mental health service serving adults and young people. This full‑time role (37.5 hours a week) carries a salary of £40,014 per year and requires Active Nursing Council registration.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Council (NMC) registration is required.
• At least 18–24 months of post-registration experience.
• Demonstrable expertise within a clinical speciality.

Responsabilités

• Lead shifts as Deputy Ward Manager and deputise for the Ward Manager.
• Assess and manage risks; maintain safe staffing and skill mix.
• Provide and evaluate therapeutic interventions for mental health needs.
• Supervise and develop nursing staff through CPD, appraisal and supervision.
