Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Vice President lead engineer for Fixed Income technology in London. You will architect and implement a next-generation cross-asset Algo platform including pricing, hedging and execution systems.

The role combines hands-on Java and Rust coding with strategic leadership and mentoring of engineers in a high-performance environment. You will partner with front-office traders, quants, and product managers to deliver robust, scalable solutions that meet demanding latency

Qualifications

Extensive software development experience in front-office low-latency trading.
Expert in Java and Rust with performance-critical coding.
Experience with vendor connectivity (Redline, ION).
Proven track record building low-latency pricing, hedging and execution systems.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design and development of a high-perf, low-latency Algo platform.
Hands-on coding in Java and Rust to set quality and performance standards.
Define long-term tech vision for order management and execution systems.
Design and optimize ultra-low latency trading workflows.
Collaborate with traders, quants, and product managers to meet requirements.
Mentor engineers and drive adoption of modern HPC practices.
Serve as senior escalation point for production issues.
