Job summary

JPMorganChase in London is seeking a Senior Lead Architect to drive high-quality architecture solutions for software applications and platforms. You will help shape the target state architecture across domains and guide teams, contractors, and vendors.

You will lead governance, evaluate new technologies, and contribute to the engineering community, while delivering secure, production-grade code and influencing product design and operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture and multiple technical disciplines (cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.).
• Ability to tackle design problems independently with minimal supervision.
• Practical cloud-native experience.
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies for future state architecture.

Responsibilities

• Represents a product family of technical governance bodies
• Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices
• Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
• Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle
• Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
