Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts, with proficient experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, SQL, REST, Python.
• Strong understanding of Agile and SDLC tools for CI/CD, resiliency and security.
• Automation and continuous delivery proficiency; SDLC expertise.
• Cloud-native experience and knowledge of cloud-based IT systems.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry IT landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews code from others.
• Improves operational stability by automating remediation of recurring issues.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and applicability to existing systems.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies within Software Engineering.
• Contributes to a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
