Based in S60 area with responsibility for Rotherham properties, the post requires experience in housing maintenance and a commitment to safeguarding, with a focus on turning voids around quickly and to a good standard.

Qualifications

• Understanding current lettable standards and requirements.
• Ability to document condition and repairs clearly.
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing role and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out void inspections and document repairs to reach lettable standard.
• Identify required furniture and replacement items for voids.
• Explain repair needs by trade to assist scheduling and quoting.
• Monitor completed work to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Undertake minor repairs to speed up void turnaround.
• Collaborate with Void Service Manager and Voids Administrator throughout the process.
• Complete final sign-off inspection before handing over to support.
• Replace interlinked detectors when needed and attend mandatory training.
