Skills and Competencies

• Excellent shooting and video editing skills
• Experience filming interviews in a studio with multicamera setups and advanced lighting, especially with Sony FX cameras
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Premiere, After Effects, and Audition
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve; animation and motion graphics skills in After Effects
• Experience recording podcasts and audio editing
• Strong interest in current affairs

Education

Responsibilities

Moody’s Ratings seeks an experienced videographer and video/audio editor to create digital media showcasing our expertise on risk, covering topics like transition finance, private credit, digital finance, and emerging markets. The senior video editor will collaborate with producers, editors, and analysts to produce engaging video podcasts, explainers, and short videos for diverse audiences.

This role is pivotal in refreshing our multimedia portfolio. The ideal candidate is resourceful, innovative, and trend-aware, with a curiosity for experimenting with formats and a keen eye for quality.

• Collaborate with producers and hosts to create engaging, digital-first content across channels
• Manage multiple projects through different production stages within deadlines
• Facilitate in-person recordings with proper equipment and lighting
• Coordinate remote recordings for optimal audio and video quality
• Provide feedback to hosts and guests for natural presentation
• Edit video and audio based on feedback and judgment
• Deliver content timely per processes
• Optimize content for social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Publish shows via major podcast platforms

About the Team

The Research Graphics & Multimedia team within Moody’s Ratings Research department comprises software engineers, information designers, data journalists, and multimedia specialists. The Senior Video Editor collaborates across teams to create compelling multimedia assets that communicate key credit messages to global financial markets.
