Up to £65K DOE | £5K Relocation | No OOH | Full or Flexible Hours

Ready to step into senior or take your current role to the next level? Whether you’re already leading or itching for that next step, we’d love to welcome you into a team that’s supportive, ambitious - and VERY Yorkshire.

A bit about us

We’re a 3-vet team (soon to be 4), led by a Clinical Director with a Small Animal Surgery certificate, and backed by a Practice Director who’s an internationally accredited coach and personal mentor. Yep - coaching, support and real development are part of the deal here.

We work closely with our sister site in Doncaster, home to certificate holders in Internal Medicine and Dentistry. You’ll also have access to our wider White Cross network across Leeds and Bradford, where you can shadow and learn from certificate holders in ECC, Medicine, and Imaging - ideal for anyone pursuing a certificate or just keen to keep growing. Our Central Support Team in Leeds has your back - HR, finance, ops... all sorted, so you can focus on vetting.

The week in a nutshell

*40 hours over 4 days

* Saturdays on a rota (with TOIL)

* No OOH (praise be!)

* 15-minute consults (30 mins for the juicy ones)

* Admin time actually built into your day

* Mixture of consults, ops and second ops - flexed around what you love

Your kind of people

* Soon-to-be 4 RVNs - kind, capable and clinically sharp

* A VCA about to start SVN training

* A stellar reception team who somehow manage to keep us all on track

* A warm, welcoming vibe with monthly wellbeing afternoons, team lunches, and the occasional transformation of prep into a cinema

* Lola’s peer-recognition scheme - because celebrating each other matters

* Out-of-hours wellbeing helpline just for our teams, for support when life gets a bit wobbly

This is a practice where high standards meet good humour - and where support is more than just a poster on the wall.

CPD that works for you

* £1,250 CPD allowance + 40 hours paid CPD leave

* Certificate funding + flexible support to make it doable

* Weekly time ringfenced for CPD follow-up, case research, and development

* Access to Vetlexicon, IVC Academy, and the Care Fund (£1,250/year) for new ideas

* Shadowing + learning across Doncaster, Leeds, and Bradford sites - you’re never boxed in

Location lowdown

We’re just 5 minutes off Sheffield Parkway, 10 minutes from the M1, and 15 minutes from the city centre. Easy to get to, and yes - there’s a shop next door so we’re never short of biscuits

Because our people matter

We recognise that our people are fundamental to the success of our business. Investing in our people, premises and processes is at the heart of what we do. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will benefit from -

Work-life balance

*6.6 weeks annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays

Wellbeing

*Private Medical Insurance

*Employee Assistance Programme: 24/7 confidential helpline

*Certificate support

*Learning and development opportunities via the IVC Evidensia Academy
