Your working environment will be just as unique, as our standalone practice is a converted fire station! This gives us much more space to provide the latest state-of-the-art equipment and deliver the highest clinical standards to our patients. We already have a loyal client base with potential for further growth, and cases can be worked up locally. Our experienced team includes our full-time Lead Vet, 4 RVNs, 1 VCA, and 1 SVN.

Hemsworth Vets4Pets is accessible via nearby bus stops and a short walk from the larger bus station, with links to Barnsley, Wakefield, Pontefract, and Doncaster. It is conveniently located near the M1 and A1, providing easy access to Leeds, Manchester, and Sheffield.

The area offers attractions such as Nostell Priory, a historic Georgian house with a renowned dolls' house and master crafts, and 300 acres of gardens and parkland. Hemsworth Water Park features lakes with activities like pedalo rides and wildlife watching, ideal for outdoor adventures or city nightlife, supporting a good work/life balance.

This position can be full-time, part-time (minimum 24 hours), with flexible hours and a fair rota for weekends.

We seek a vet with small animal experience, great people skills, and comfort with sole charge, who also enjoys being part of a team. We offer a salary up to £65,000 FTE + £5,000 welcome/relocation bonus, along with benefits like pension, healthcare, paid memberships, career progression, and discounts (up to 30% at Pets at Home). Relocation packages and visa sponsorship are available.
