About the Role:
Are you a skilled and compassionate leader? PDSA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to head our Pet Hospital team. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our hospital’s leadership, steering the team towards excellence in customer service, clinical care, and pet wellbeing. Your focus will be on fostering a cohesive and motivated team dedicated to preventive services and treating sick and injured pets of eligible clients.
As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll oversee the Head Nurse and Veterinary Surgeons, playing a pivotal role in developing and mentoring the clinical team. You’ll be responsible for guiding the team’s daily workflow, ensuring smooth operations and high standards in both clinical practice and customer care.
Your leadership will also extend to overseeing clinical governance, income, and expenditure at the hospital. This includes managing treatment costs and optimising PDSA resources to provide cost-effective solutions without compromising on care quality.
