AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Vertical Transportation specialist to lead design and specification of lifts and escalators for diverse developments across the UK. You will prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications and tender docs while coordinating with architects, engineers and project teams to ensure successful VT integration.

You’ll review contractor submissions, guide delivery teams, and stay current with industry standards and safety requirements, enabling digital and process

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree or lift/escapator related apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent experience.
• Proven vertical transportation design experience across building types in a consultancy or similar.
• Knowledge of lift/escalator tech, controls, safety standards, and traffic tools; UK regs awareness.

Aufgaben

• Lead design and specification of VT systems for commercial, residential and mixed-use sites.
• Prepare reports, calculations, specifications and tender documents.
• Perform feasibility studies, site surveys and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to integrate VT into designs.
• Review contractor submissions and provide technical guidance to delivery teams.
