Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in the Worthing/Sompting border seeks a German Vehicle Technician to join our award‑winning workshop. You will perform advanced diagnostics on petrol, diesel and high‑voltage EV systems, carry out major mechanical overhauls, and service prestige German brands to manufacturer standards.

We offer £32,000–£50,000 per year, Monday–Friday hours, fully funded EV/Tesla training, premium equipment, and clear progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Ideally 5+ years of main dealer or high-standard independent experience.
• Solid knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance and complex repairs.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on petrol, diesel and high-voltage EV systems.
• Carry out major mechanical overhauls and routine servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Work on prestige German brands (Audi, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, VW).

Role Overview

Seeking a skilled German Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our award-winning workshop team. You will be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics on petrol, diesel, and high-voltage EV systems, executing major mechanical overhauls, and handling routine maintenance across top-tier German engineering to exceptionally high standards.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £32,000 – £50,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:0 AM – 4:30 PM (NO WEEKENDS & Early 4:30 PM finish every Friday)

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent technical qualification).
• Ideally 5+ years of main dealer or high-standard independent experience (German brand or EV exposure is a huge plus).
• Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
