Job summary

Hawk Hiring is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for a top independent garage on the Worthing/Sompting border. Work on premium German brands and cutting-edge EVs in a state-of-the-art workshop with no weekend work and an early finish on Fridays.

You’ll receive fully funded specialist EV and Tesla training, a prestige workload, and a friendly, family-oriented team. The role is based in Worthing/Sompting with clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of main dealer or high-standard independent experience is preferred.
• Valid UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced fault-finding and diagnostics on modern petrol, diesel, and high-voltage EV systems.
• Carry out mechanical overhauls (clutches, timing belts/chains) and routine servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Use dealer-level diagnostic tools to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
