Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Poole is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / Master Mechanic to join our established Poole workshop team. You will lead shop floor technical operations, executing advanced diagnostics, and delivering clean, precise fixed-first-time craftsmanship on high-spec vehicles.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, at least 3 years post-qualification experience, a full UK driving licence and your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification workshop experience with strong diagnostic capabilities.
• Independent problem-solving mindset and a commitment to high standards.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools (prestige, 4x4, or commercial experience is a major plus!).

Responsibilities

• Lead shop floor technical operations, executing advanced diagnostics, and delivering fixed-first-time craftsmanship on high-spec vehicles.
• Perform detailed RAC-standard inspections and lead maintenance activities on 4x4s and prestige commercial vehicles.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: Up to £50,000 fixed basic salary per annum (guaranteed top pay with zero bonus games)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (NO WEEKENDS)
