Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Bath is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / German Specialist to join our family-run workshop. You will perform specialist repairs, routine servicing and fault-finding on premium European vehicles using high-spec diagnostic software.

A valid UK driving licence, LVG/City & Guilds level training, and hands-on workshop experience are required. We offer on-site parking, a pension scheme and clear career progression within a secure, long-standing independent specialist.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with proven workshop experience.
• Solid knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance and mechanical repair.
• DVSA MOT card or F-Gas cert is advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist repairs on premium European vehicles.
• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Use diagnostic software for fault-finding and issue MOT testing if qualified.

Role Overview

Seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / German Specialist to join our expanding, family-run workshop team in Bath. You will carry out specialist repairs, routine servicing, systematic fault-finding using modern high-spec diagnostic software, and MOT testing (if qualified) across premium and performance European vehicles to exceptionally high standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with proven workshop experience (experience on high-spec German platforms is a major plus)
• Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repair
• Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card or F-Gas certification is advantageous, but not essential
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
