Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician in Selby, North Yorkshire. This is a stable, well-supported role with a clear path for career progression and attractive benefits.

Responsibilities include maintenance, service and repair to high standards, following OEM time guidelines. Training on electric and hybrid vehicles starts from day one, with ongoing opportunities to develop technical skills within a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to high standards of work and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair motor vehicles to high standards.
• Complete work efficiently, adhering to manufacturer time guidelines.
• Record diagnosis details, work performed, and parts used in line with group and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and customers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved and maintained.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
