Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Sunderland is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a reputable dealership. You will conduct vehicle health checks, carry out servicing and repairs, and liaise with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role offers structured pay progression, manufacturer accredited training including hybrid and electric vehicle programs, and an optional four-day week. You must hold a full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with ongoing development

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
Self-motivated with a high standard of workmanship.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Brand training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle health checks using advanced diagnostic tools.
Perform routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
Liaise with the service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
Keep the workshop environment clean and organised.
Stay informed about latest automotive technology and industry standards.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving vehicle faults efficiently.
