Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to service Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, Durham, Darlington and surrounding areas. This home-based position lets you work independently while maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance and customer service.

The role offers a basic salary up to £39,000 DOE with OTE up to £44,000, with flexible day/night shifts and extensive training including EV/hybrid certifications.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven experience as a mobile or workshop vehicle technician.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently, managing daily tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Confidence in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site servicing, repairs, and diagnostics at customer premises.
• Operate from a fully equipped service van, starting and finishing from your home address.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and professionalism.
• Complete accurate job cards and documentation for all work carried out.
• Use diagnostic equipment efficiently to identify faults and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage workflow independently and efficiently while on the road.
